Symptoms of dental problems
Does your horse show any of these symptoms?
- Weight loss or difficulty gaining weight.
- Difficulty or slowness in eating.
- Quidding (food falls from its mouth when chewing).
- Frequent colics.
- Chronic nasal discharge.
- Protests when you put bit.
- Has difficulty collecting.
- "Seizes up" or "moves stiffly"
- Has trouble in bending.
- Tilts head to one side when working.
- Shakes head violently.
- Avoids "contact".
- Is very irritable or very apathetic..
- Dislikes being touched near the ears.
- Has balance problems.
