Who I am

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona, 1988.
• Internships in several equine hospitals in England, 1989.
• More than 20 years devoted to equine clinical practice (general medicine, internal medicine, sports medicine, anesthesiology, etc.)
• Since the year 2000, my practice has focused exclusively on equine dentistry, a field with repercussions in the horse’s general health as well as its sporting activity.
• My period of specialization in equine dentistry began with a course at the American School of Equine Dentistry in Virginia (USA), followed by several periods of apprenticeship with American and European specialists.
• Member of the International Association of Equine Dentistry since the year 2000. I have followed their certification program, achieving Basic Certification in 2005, and Advanced Certification in 2009.
• After many years of dedication to this specialty, I am more and more convinced that dental problems have huge repercussions in horses, affecting both their general health and their sporting performance, greatly affecting the biomechanics of motion.
